a passion shared by the Boüard de Laforest family since 1782. Situated less than a kilometre from the famous church tower on the renowned "pied de côte" or the lower slopes
of the limestone plateau of Saint-Emilion, Angelus is
the result of eight generations of emotion and meticulous attention to detail. In retelling its history, the author Jane Anson invites us to discover those who work there, the land,
the vineyards and the exceptional wine.
In 2012, after a huge renovation, a new and more beautiful Angelus was born, with a bell tower at its centre that is symbolic of its heart and soul.
